POSITION VACANCY

 

TITLE OF POSITION:

Assistant Professor in Interior Design

STATUS: Full-time renewable contract position

DEPARTMENT:

Interior Design

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified applicant should have demonstrated excellence in teaching as well as possessing a distinguished record of practice and/or scholarly accomplishments.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to participate in interdisciplinary activities in the school.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Advanced degree in interior design, architecture or related field required NCIDQ qualification is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Assistant Professor in Interior Design responsibilities will include teaching, professional development and service.
  • Leading and teaching Interior Design Studios in addition to one content area such as emerging technologies, CAD, lighting or interior building construction and detailing.
