QUALIFICATIONS: |
Philadelphia University invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Mathematics starting August 2012. Mathematics is housed in the College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts. There is no major in mathematics at the University and all mathematics courses are for general education, science and engineering. Expectations include excellent teaching, research and service to the University. |

EDUCATION REQUIRED: |
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics or a related field. |

RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Philadelphia University founded in 1884 is an independent, coeducational, accredited university recognized for its professional programs in the sciences, health, engineering, architecture, design, business, dash ion, apparel and textiles. The responsibilities of this position include classroom instruction, academic advising, committee service, scholarship and some administrative coordination duties. Starting date for this position is August 2012. |
