POSITION VACANCY

 

TITLE OF POSITION:

Associate Professor in Engineering

STATUS: Full-time

DEPARTMENT:

School of Engineering and Textiles

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ten or more years as an engineering faculty member in either a mechanical, chemical materials, or biomaterials engineering department.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Doctorate degree required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will teach undergraduate courses in mechanics including fluid mechanics and thermodynamics and mechatronics.
  • Active research agenda in: nanofibers and nanotechnology, material science, and technology or biomedical materials.
  • Ability and interest to be an academic leader at Philadelphia University in engineering.
  • Work with others in design and commerce to enable, energize, and grow the DEC concept and approach.
  • Leadership for the engineering program including ABET accreditation.
