POSITION VACANCY

 

TITLE OF POSITION:

Communications Officer

STATUS: Part-Time

DEPARTMENT:

Safety & Security

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified candidates must have the ability to multi-task under stressful, emergency situations and possess strong customer service skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Basic knowledge of communications and security technologies

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • National Basic Telecommunicators certification is preferred

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

High School Diploma

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Staffs 24-hour Security Communications Center

  • Monitor security alarms, fire alarms and CCTV systems

  • Receive, evaluate and allocate resources for all emergency and non-emergency service requests

  • Transmit messages

  • Maintain records
