TITLE OF POSITION:

Director of the Interior Design Program

DEPARTMENT:

School of Architecture

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Should have demonstrated excellence in teaching, administrative experience, and a distinguished record of practice and/or scholarly accomplishments. 
• Strong communication skills and a desire to participate in trans- and interdisciplinary activities in the School and the University. 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Professional degree in interior design, architecture, or related field.
• NCIDQ qualification is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will provide academic leadership in the program and take a lead role in engaging professional and community interests. 
• Will lead the faculty in developing, documenting, and maintaining course and other materials required to fulfill the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) requirements.
