Assistant Professor Biological and Health Sciences; Anatomy and Physiology

STATUS:

Full-time, tenure-track

DEPARTMENT:

College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts

QUALIFICATIONS:

Expertise in anatomy, physiology and human biology, with some teaching experience in anatomy and physiology.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

PhD in biology, anatomy, physiology or related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position involves teaching the following courses: undergraduate Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 with labs; and graduate-level Advanced Anatomy with full-dissection lab in a state-of-the-art gross anatomy facility.

The faculty member may also teach other courses such as microbiology, genetics, histology, immunology and others dependent on expertise and teaching load.  These courses are taught mostly to students in the science and health majors. This is a 10.5 month per year, tenure-track position that entails teaching, service, academic advising and scholarship components.
