TITLE OF POSITION:

 Assistant/Associate Professor, Landscape Architecture & Geodesign

STATUS:

 Full-time, tenure track

DEPARTMENT:

 College of Architecture and the Built Environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Applicants should have a professional degree in landscape architecture and a graduate degree in landscape architecture, urban design or closely related discipline. Landscape Architecture licensure is highly desirable. Expertise with GIS software, modeling applications, 3D LIDAR, data management, etc. is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach and develop advanced GIS/geospatial courses and associated collaborative design studios primarily in the MS in Geodesign program. Serve as the geodesign program liaison with industry, city and state agencies, and community organizations. Develop a research agenda that supports the mission of the geodesign and landscape architecture programs. Applicants should also expect to participate in interdisciplinary collaborative activities in the College and University.
