Assistant/Associate Professor, Disaster Medicine & Management

Full-time, 12 month non-tenure track

QUALIFICATIONS:
|
Qualifications are: 1) doctoral degree. 2) experience in disaster medicine, emergency preparedness and emergency management and 3) experience in distance education methods and technology in online education.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior university teaching experience. Candidates must demonstrate a record of successful teaching, research and scholarship, and or professional service activities to support an appointment to assistant/associate professor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
|
Responsibilities include instruction in an online Master of Science program, creating liaisons with disaster organizations and agencies, curriculum development, disaster exercise planning, student recruiting and advising and grant writing and other scholarly activities.
