Assistant Professor & Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Occupational Therapy Graduate Program

STATUS:

Full-time, 12 month renewable contract

DEPARTMENT:

Occupational Therapy Graduate Program
The OT Program is provided in a hybrid format, where students attend class on campus, two weekends per month (Friday/Saturday). Between sessions, students complete assignments and participate in learning activities online through distance education technology.
|
|
QUALIFICATIONS:
|
At least 3 years of clinical experience including supervision of Level I and II students (5 years or more preferred); teaching experience in an academic setting; and eligibility for licensure as an occupational therapist in Pennsylvania.
|
|
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
|
Candidates must possess an earned doctorate (or evidence of nearing completion of a doctorate).
|
|
RESPONSIBILITIES:
|
The position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as expertise in a practice area. The responsibilities of this position include fieldwork coordination and supervision, teaching, student advising, participating in department and university service and scholarly activities.
|
|
