TITLE OF POSITION:

 Administrative Assistant, Part-time

STATUS:

 Part-time, 20 hours a week, 10 months

DEPARTMENT:

 College of Science, Health & Liberal Arts

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have experience with website maintenance.  Experience with standard office equipment is a required.  Experience with an enterprise systems and web interfaces such as WebAdvisor is a plus. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of administrative experience; experience in higher education is preferred. 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma; an associate’s degree is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Administrative Assistant supports all the Liberal Arts faculty with curricular and co-curricular support.  S/he will manage the main office housing Liberal Arts faculty, including the supervision of student workers.  The position liaises with Facilities and IT on facilities and classroom needs for the Ravenhill Mansion building.  The position also participates in the general initiatives in the College, including course planning and scheduling conducted by the Manager of Academic Operations and the administrative assistance to the Executive Dean of the College.
