Admissions Counselor/Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

QUALIFICATIONS:

 A minimum of two years of  professional admissions experience is required for the Assistant Director position. Previous experience with graduate student recruitment preferred. The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, highly organized, energetic and possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience with interactive and social media preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. Some evening and weekend work required. 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

 Bachelor’s degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 The Admissions Counselor/Assistant Director collaborates with the Director of Graduate Admissions and Program Directors to market specific programs of study to a wide variety of student populations, maintains contact with prospective students in person, via tele-counseling and through social networking, represents the University at off-campus events and manages an applicant pool through all stages of the enrollment process.
