Previous residence life experience with a minimum of two years post undergraduate experience. Supervision experience preferred. |

EDUCATION REQUIRED: |
Master's degree in Student Development, Higher Education Administration or related field. |

RESPONSIBILITIES: |
The Area Coordinator (AC) of Residence Life for Judicial Affairs supervises one Residence Coordinator (RC) and the Resident Assistant (RA) staff that manages Apartment Living on campus. The AC responds to student and parent concerns, participates in an on-call, emergency management rotation, serves as a judicial hearing officer, assists with room changes and monitors facilities. The Area Coordinator is expected to be a visible presence in their residential areas. As such, some evening hours are expected as well as attendance at evening events. In addition, the AC of Judicial Affairs assists in the development and management of Judicial Affairs/Student Conduct, management and review of Student Handbook, Hearing Officer Training and assigned summer events responsibilities. Compensation for the Area Coordinator position is commensurate with experience and includes on-campus housing and a $2400 meal declining balance. |
