QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Substantial experience analyzing complex data sets and using data to forecast and plan
  • Demonstrated experience with academic resource management and preparation of financial reports
  • Experience with developing and implementing strategic plans
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work productively on teams
  • Knowledge of software required to facilitate budget management and planning, and data modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse constituencies to reach a common goal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 The Associate Provost of Academic Affairs supports the overall budget management/planning in Academic Affairs, by working with the Finance Office to develop and manage the Academic budget. This position focuses on academic resource management to leverage existing resources, increase efficiencies, streamline the delivery of the academic programs, and align budget practices in the academic units. The position focuses on strategic planning to support new program implementation with dynamic models that identify and plan for faculty growth, supports modeling efforts with enrollment management, and leverages data analytics to implement “smart growth” strategies.
