Communications Officer

STATUS:

Full-time

DEPARTMENT:

Safety and Security 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic knowledge of communications and security technologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask under emergency and severely stressful conditions. Strong customer service skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. National basic telecommunicators certification preferred. 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

 Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer emergency phone calls, monitor security, fire and CCTV systems. Will need to receive, evaluate and allocate resources for service requests, transmit messages and maintain records.
