QUALIFICATIONS:

 The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree. Proficiency with Colleague, WebAdvisor administrative software or similar college management software required.  The applicant must also be experienced with departmental budgeting and record monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills within a fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Professional Education will be responsible for planning, development, and implementation of non-credit programs including corporate training programs, open enrollment courses, and seminar/conference style programs.  Other responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision of program coordinators and faculty, integrating the Continuing Professional Education with Philadelphia University’s mission and strategic plan, marketing with appropriate professional associations, recruiting qualified faculty to deliver effective programs, and finally preparing and managing program budgets, conducting registration activities, and monitoring program performance results.
