TITLE OF POSITION:

Faculty position, Interior Design Program

DEPARTMENT:

School of Architecture

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Should have demonstrated excellence in teaching and a distinguished record of practice and/or scholarly accomplishments. 
• Strong communication skills and a desire to participate in trans- and interdisciplinary activities in the School and the University. 
• Be able to teach Interior Design studios in addition to one content area such as CAD, lighting or interior building construction and detailing.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Degree in interior design, architecture, or related field.
• NCIDQ qualification is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will fully engage in the Interior Design Program in its context with Architecture, Architectural Studies, and Landscape Architecture. 
• All programs share a commitment to design excellence and innovation and recognize the critical relationship between theory and practice.
