TITLE OF POSITION:

Instructional Technology Specialist

DEPARTMENT:

Paul J. Gutman Library

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of instruction design and technology skills and practice
• PC and Mac computer experience
• Courseware administration and support
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to develop and present workshops

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Master's Degree in Instructional Design/Technology
• Second subject masters desirable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support for courseware and electronic reserve products
• Collaborate with faculty to improve the integration of technology into courses
• Plan and provide workshops on teaching with technology
• Maintain support web sites for Blackboard and ERes
• Work closely with IT to support courseware systems upgrades
• Provide direct assistance to faculty needing teaching technology support
• Collaborate with librarians to develop instructional products
