Title of Position:
Patrol Officer

Full-time (2 position openings)

Safety and Security

Prior security/police experience in a college/university environment preferred. Requires a valid driver’s license (able to be insured by the University’s insurance carrier), criminal-free record and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.). Requires excellent physical condition (ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 pounds), full mobility (ability to pursue/apprehend suspects), superior hearing, speaking and vision skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask and maintain composure in emergency situations. CPR/first aid certification a plus.

Education Required:
Associate’s degree in criminal justice preferred.

Perform general campus patrol duties, parking enforcement, locking/unlocking buildings, responding to calls for assistance, interviews and report writing. Full-time position working various shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
