The first – and only – full-time English-language program in Milan, the Philadelphia University Milan program is offered in collaboration with Milan’s prestigious Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA). Participants combine classroom and studio sessions with “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunities to visit Milanese design firms, designer studios, and to take in the many design shows, fairs and exhibitions that the city hosts each year. These course-related visits with their faculty – all of whom are practicing professionals - afford students invaluable insights into the fascinating world of cutting-edge Northern Italian design. An optional three-day excursion to visit historical and design-related sites is also offered.
