Tutoring Services
The Learning & Advising Center is the primary learning assistance resource at the University. Professional and Peer Tutors assist students in all majors and at all levels to become better at learning course material and developing course skills. We offer content-specific tutoring in all majors, including Math, science, engineering, and business courses. We also offer learning assistance with skills such as Writing, Design, time management, presentation skills, and study strategies.
Tutoring is free to all students currently enrolled at Philadelphia University. Approximately half of all undergraduate students seek some form of learning assistance every year, whether they are struggling to pass a challenging course or determined to keep a high GPA. Graduate students also come for assistance with tackling thesis projects or keeping up with new study demands.
Come as soon as you recognize that a course is challenging you. Seeking help is most effective early on—before you find yourself struggling. Call 215.951.2799, consult the tutor schedule, or stop by Learning & Advising.
