How to Get Tutoring

Peer Tutoring

Peer tutors are available for walk-in tutoring in a variety of courses. You do not need to make an appointment. To see a peer tutor, come to the front desk on the first floor of the Learning & Advising Center. See the tutoring schedule for tutors' hours (don't forget to check back for updates!). If you have a scheduling conflict and cannot see a tutor during his or her hours, please contact the tutoring coordinator, Kendra Talbott, at (215) 951-6834.

If you do not see a tutor on the schedule for the course you need help with, please contact Kendra Talbott. Sometimes additional tutors can be hired, or there may be another tutor who is able to help you.

Professional tutoring

Professional tutors are available by appointment for writing, math, English as a second language, study strategies and test analysis. All professional tutors are listed on the last page of the tutoring schedule. To make an appointment, call (215) 951-2799, or stop by the Learning & Advising Center and come to the front desk. Try to plan ahead and make your appointments early; professional tutors may get booked at certain times during the semester. If you cannot keep your appointment, please call the Learning & Advising Center as soon as possible. Your time slot can then be offered to another student.
