Document Delivery for Articles we own

This service provides electronic copies of articles that are only available in paper form at Gutman Library.

  • Use JournalList to make sure that the library does not own the article electronically
  • Log into ILLiad from the Interlibrary Loan Page
  • If you are using ILLiad for the first time, please register and use your @philau email address.
  • Click on New Request - Article
  • Enter the citation and indicate in the notes field that you are a distance student.
  • Submit your request.
  • Articles will be delivered electronically in 2-5 business days.

 

Interlibrary Loan for Articles for articles we do not own

This service provides electronic copies of articles that Gutman Library does not own. Books cannot be mailed to you. However, if you do live near campus you may request books through interlibrary loan to be picked up at Gutman Library.

  • Use JournalList to make sure that the library does not own the article electronically
  • Log into ILLiad from the Interlibrary Loan Page
  • If you are using ILLiad for the first time, please register and use your @philau email address.
  • Click on New Request - Article
  • Enter the citation and indicate in the notes field that you are a distance student OR Search for an article in a database, click on the Check for Fulltext or Article Linker and look for the link for Place an article request here which will automatically fill in the citation in your ILLiad account.
  • Submit your request.
  • Articles will be delivered electronically in 3-20 business days
