Wireless Laptops for Loan

All Philadelphia University students are eligible to borrow a wireless laptop from Gutman Library for use in the library building. "Wireless" means that you can connect to the campus network from anywhere in the library building. The laptops have all regular lab computer software as well. Here are the key facts. Below, you can view both the full guidelines for borrowing a laptop and view the borrower's form:

• We have ten Gateway PCs
• The loan period is two hours
• You must be a registered borrower (check at our Circulation Desk) and you must be in good standing with the library (no fines)
• The laptops are available during our regular operating hours, but must be returned one hour before closing
• Borrowers are financially responsible for the laptop (damage or theft) while they have it on loan
