Courses:
Business Core courses:
The business core provides each student with advanced understanding of the business areas of economics, accounting, marketing, finance, etc.  Business core courses emphasize international perspectives and the integration of topics across functional areas.  Each core course will feature a "real time" case study of a textile or apparel firm.  In this case study, students will interact with executives and data from a firm with the goal of identifying strategies to deal with actual problems or challenges faced by the firm that relate to the course area. For a description of Core courses, click <
here>.
Students who need a grounding in basic business functions fulfill Foundation Course requirements. These courses are available in online format only.

Concentration courses in Textile and Apparel Marketing:
Students will complete a concentration in Textile and Apparel Marketing.  Concentration coursework will focus on the "cutting edge" of international marketing strategy as applied to textiles and apparel. For a description of TAM courses, click <
here>.

All courses are offered in an asynchronous, online format only. On-going support to the students will be provided with a web site focused on textile and apparel marketing.  It will serve as a clearinghouse for information on marketing issues in the textile and apparel industries.  Bulletin boards will be created around key issues related to textile and apparel marketing.  Links will be added to other relevant informational sites as M.B.A. faculty and students as well as industry participants identify them.

A fast track tentative program is scheduled over a 13-month period. Online Core and TAM Concentration courses are only available to those registered in the TAM Program or TAM Certificate Program.
