Certification

Upon completion of our M.S. in Midwifery or Post-Masters certificate program, graduates are eligible to sit for the national certification exam of the American Midwifery Certification Board.

 

Accreditation

The M.S. in Midwifery, Post-Master’s Certificate, and CM pathway courses are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education.  The most recent program accreditation runs from May, 2008 through June, 2015. Philadelphia University is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
