Clinical Applications in
Advanced Pharmacology and Therapeutics in Women’s Health
An Online Continuing Education Course facilitated by Nell L. Tharpe, M.S., C.N.M., C.R.N.F.A.
This is a comprehensive, clinically
relevant, 60-hour on-line continuing education course designed
to provide midwives with the current knowledge of pharmacology necessary to obtain
or maintain prescriptive privileges, including the use of medications, herbs, and
dietary supplements. Designed for the busy clinician, this 6-week online course
is facilitated by an instructor and allows participants to learn at their own pace
while interacting online with colleagues.
Credits:
This course has been approved by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) for specialty credit,
with 55 hours specific to pharmacology. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive 6 CEU’s.
First Assisting for Cesarean Birth:
A Course for Women’s Health Professionals
An Online Continuing Education Course
facilitated by Nell L. Tharpe, M.S., C.N.M., C.R.N.F.A.
Many midwives and women’s health professionals
now practice the role of first assistant for cesarean births. The role combines
technical skills with woman-centered care for a safe and rewarding birth experience.
This innovative online course provides the student with the essential knowledge
and skills required to begin clinical training as a first assistant for cesarean
births. This six-week online course will take approximately 60 hours (10 hours per week) to complete.
This course is self-paced within the six-week time frame. Course is limited to 15
students so register early!
Credits:
This course has been approved by the American College of Nurse-Midwives
(ACNM). Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive 6 CEU’s.
