The two year full-time course of study can be extended into a three year part-time course of study for students interested in a part-time option. The pre-clinical course work is accomplished part-time over 2 years. However, once clinical begins, immersion in the role transition to midwife is important for your learning. The addition of the clinical component to your program of study requires full-time commitment.
