The Post-Master's Certificate in Midwifery is available for the individual who already has a master's degree in a health related discipline.

The program of study is the same as the MS in midwifery without the following four master's related courses:

• MMW-712 Introduction to Health Policy
• MMW-720 Critical Inquiry I
• MMW-721 Critical Inquiry 2
• MMW-7XX MS Elective

Admissions requirements are the same as the requirements for the MS in midwifery with the exception that applicants must have a master's in a health related discipline.

Nurse Practitioners and other health care providers with a master’s or doctoral degree master's degree may be eligible for our advanced placement option.
