MASTER OF SCIENCE IN TAXATION
The Master of
Science in Taxation prepares students for professional tax
practice in both the public and private sectors. The program
is geared to practicing accountants in the fields of public,
corporate, and governmental accounting; as well as lawyers,
financial managers and planners, who need extensive
information and formal study in taxation. A unique feature
of the program is its practitioner-focus. The distinguished
faculty includes partners and managers from national,
regional, and local CPA firms, noted tax attorneys, and
specialists in many areas such as financial planning and
state and local taxation.
The program consists of 30 credit hours of graduate
coursework. It is offered in the evening at both the Main
Campus and the Bucks County Campus in two formats: an
accelerated format and a traditional format. Students may
take courses toward the degree or as Continuing Professional
Education (CPE) credits to meet biannual state CPE
requirements to maintain their CPA license or to enhance
their expertise in a specific topic.
