Podiums in Classrooms

Certain classrooms podiums are equipped with A/V equipment that allows information to be displayed via projector. These podiums have computer inputs, DVD players and cables to attach VGA capable laptops.

Contact the Technology Help Desk for podium or projector related questions. 

 

Recording classes

Please contact the Technology Help Desk to request that a class be recorded. This requires 2 weeks advance notice.

 

Podium to Mobile Technology Adaptors

An adapter is required to project media from a Mac laptop or iPad. Most MacBooks use a "Display Port" or "Thunderbolt" display connection. View the University Bookstore website or call 215.951.2717 for assistance regarding laptop to podium adaptors.


Kanbar info

Events in the Kanbar Performance space and other rooms in Kanbar must be reserved through the Ad Astra.

 

Guest worker Wireless Internet policy

Guest workers or teachers for the University must have an accredited staff member request wireless access through the Technology Help Desk

Please request access two days before the guest's arrival to ensure there are no problems. This is only available to guests who will be working for Philadelphia University on campus. All other visitors are not permitted to use the wireless Internet on campus.
