Office Computer Information
Computers purchased by the University for work purposes are all managed and maintained by the Office of Information Resources staff through the Technology Help Desk.
Computer issues can typically be resolved with the following steps.
- Restart the program experiencing the issue.
- Restart the computer.
- Perform a password reset if unable to log into PhilaU services

Software included on Faculty and Staff Computers
Each Faculty and Staff computer is equipped with the following programs.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Adobe Photoshop CS5.5

Requesting New Hardware
To request new hardware, staff members must contact their departmental assistant who will contact the Technology Help Desk with the hardware request.
