Accessing your Alumni Email

An alumnist's e-mail login is assigned by the University as ""

The initial password is set to "PhilaUmmddyy" where "mmddyy is the user's six-digit date of birth. For example, if born on January 31, 1982, the user's password would be PhilaU013182.

Changing your Password

If the user cannot login initially, contact the Technology Help Desk at 215-951-4648 or by email at in order to get a password reset.

If the user has logged in before, the user should have setup a security question which can help in this process. Click on the "Forgot your Password?" link at the login prompt to get started.


Quotas and Limitations

The capacity of your Outlook Live account is 10 GB of storage. It can send attachments up to 20 MB in size.
