Overview
A network
interface card (NIC) is an investment
that will pay off in convenience
during your residency at the
University. This fast ethernet
NIC will allow you to connect your
personal computer directly to the
University network from your room in
any residence hall or townhouse,
giving you 24-hour-a-day superfast
connectivity to our network services
and the internet - free of charge.
No tying up phone lines, no busy
signals, no waiting for dial-up, and many
times faster data transfer than
you could get over a modem.
