Susan Haiman
Susan Haiman has over 30 years experience working as an occupational therapist in
the field of mental health, and has taught mental health assessment and intervention
for over 25 years. Susan was the faculty expert and community advocate for the PhISH
program. Susan has a six-year history of involvement in developing life skills programming
for incarcerated individuals, and was instrumental in creating the grant proposal,
which was accepted by the Jacob and Valeria Langeloth Foundation.
Adele Breen-Franklin
A 2005 graduate of the Philadelphia University Occupational Therapy Program, Adele
Breen-Franklin oversaw the PhISH grant project from the Jacob and Valeria Langeloth
Foundation in partnership with the Philadelphia Prison System in collaboration with
Occupational Therapy Faculty. Her responsibilities included the development and
implementation of an occupational therapy-based transitional correctional healthcare
program for female inmates with psychiatric disorders at the Riverside Correctional
Facility.
