Description |
Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time PA. The position is focused on treating patients with muscular skeletal problems with emphasis on spine and some/minimal general cases. The new PA will work directly with a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. The position is a split between the OR and the Clinic. The new PA will have the responsibility for treatment for complex and basic spine cases, as well as some general. There is minimal call and the position is Mon to Fri and averages 45 hours per week,
The new PA’s day to day responsibilities include: patient evaluations, first assist, injections, removing casts and pins, consultation, rounds and patient evaluation and education, writing prescriptions, and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. Successful candidate should be certified/eligible, organized, self starter, able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred but will consider new grad with orthopaedic rotation and experience working as a PT, ATC, Ortho Tech and/or RN!
