Biographical Summary:
Amy Baker is the first graduate of the Philadelphia University Physician Assistant
Program to return to teach. After graduating in 2004, she worked full-time in a
family practice setting for two years. During her time in full time family practice
she was an adjunct faculty member at Philadelphia University in the Physical Diagnosis
lab and was also a preceptor for Physician Assistant students from Philadelphia
University and medical students from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey.
Amy is currently an Assistant Professor in the Philadelphia University Physician
Assistant Program. She is also the pre-professional coordinator in the program,
working to improve the education of the 5 Year BS/MS students. She continues to
work clinically with Talamo Family Practice Group in Collegeville, PA. She, her
husband, and their Doberman puppy just recently purchased a home which they are
renovating in the East Falls section of Philadelphia.
