Biographical Summary:
Dr. Mancano is a registered pharmacist with over 25 years’ experience in clinical practice as well as education.  Dr. Mancano has been a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy Practice at the Temple University School of Pharmacy for twenty years and currently is the Chairman of the Pharmacy Practice Department.  Dr. Mancano maintains an Internal Medicine clinical pharmacy practice at Pennsylvania Hospital.  He has twice been selected for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Teacher of the Year Award as well as the Golden Apple Award at the School of Pharmacy for Teaching Innovation.  He is the co-editor of the book: Frequently Prescribed Medications: Drugs you Need to Know, which is now in its second edition.  He authors a monthly column in the journal Hospital Pharmacy reviewing current adverse drug reactions.

Dr. Mancano has been an adjunct professor in the physician assistant studies program since 2007.
