Biographical Summary:
Upon graduating Georgetown University with an RN degree in 1996, Kirstin moved to California and worked as a neurological nurse on general medical, post surgical and Neuro ICU floors over the span of 7 years. She then went to San Francisco and completed her Nurse Practitioner program there in 2002, and upon its completion moved back to the East Coast where she started working as a nurse practitioner in both family medicine and women's health. Her most recent jobs include working as a practitioner at Virtua Phoenix OB/GYN as well as acting as Co-Director of the Student Health Care Center at Philadelphia University. She has been a guest lecturer for the Philadelphia University PA program since 2008 and in 2013 became an adjunct faculty member for the program. Other hobbies include volunteering as secretary for Sigma Theta Tau's Eta Mu Chapter (Nursing's Honor Society), playing basketball and watching anything that has to do with sports, and enjoying life in Philadelphia as a wife and mother.
