Biographical Summary:
Dr. Humbert is the Medical Director of Philadelphia University’s PA
Program. He initially became involved
with the PA Program at Philadelphia University by precepting PA students. He then began lecturing in Pathophysiology,
Clinical Medicine, and Clinical Reasoning before eventually becoming Medical
Director in 2007. He runs a busy
internal medicine practice in Drexel Hill, Prime Health Network. There he works alongside a PA colleague and
continues to precept PhilaU PA students. Students enjoy the combination of
office, hospital, and nursing home experience that they gain with Dr. Humbert
and Ray Ferraro, PA-C. The practice was
the recipient of the Preceptor of the Year Award in 2010.
In his free time, Dr. Humbert enjoys watching sports, vacationing with his wife and kids to Lake Wallenpaupack , and playing with his chinchilla.
