The Interior Design Program at Philadelphia University leading to a Bachelor
of Science degree prepares students to work with clients and architects to
successfully design interior building space that complements our rapidly
evolving and technology - and information-driven society.
The program is fully accredited by the
Council for Interior Design
Qualification
(CIDA).

Highlights
- Students explore, understand and apply constructs related to pure and applied design, space planning, building codes, lighting, furniture, finishes and equipment (FF&E) selection and specification, architectural graphics and marketing.
- Students design a variety of
interior environments such as homes, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, libraries, theaters and corporate interiors.
- Students participate in real-world projects, such as redesigning health centers for the City of Philadelphia.
- Students enjoy state-of-the-art studio facilities and individual workspace in our 23,000-square-foot Architecture and Design Center.
- Graduates are prepared for professional positions with both residential and commercial design firms. Alumni have also established their own independent design firms.
- Graduates are prepared to enter the interior design profession and begin the licensing process.
