Danielle Mina Dadras joins the faculty of the School of Liberal Arts at Philadelphia University as Assistant Professor of World Literature and Cultural Studies.  She received her Ph.D. in English from Ohio State University in 2008 and specializes in postcolonial studies, narrative theory, film studies, and pop culture.  Her current interests include non-state national cinema, representations of Iran in popular culture, and cosmopolitanism and the 21st century novel..
