Drew McKevitt received his PhD in history from Temple University in May 2009.  His dissertation and current book project examines the consumption of Japanese goods in the United States in the 1970s and 1980s and the consequent shifts in Americans’ understandings of concepts like international power and globalization.  His specializations are Cold War international history, U.S. transnational cultural history, and globalization studies.
