The Writing Program is committed to assisting students in developing their critical reading, writing, and thinking skills across the curriculum.

The Philadelphia University community supports writing as a means of making thinking visible, seeking and sharing information, demonstrating competence, explaining goals and objectives, recording events and ideas, and enhancing understanding. In addition, the University recognizes the importance of effective writing both in academic and workplace environments.

As a result, students can expect a program in which critical writing, reading, and thinking are integrated into their education.
