SCIENCE & HEALTH
If your career plans include the health-care
professions, scientific research or fields from
pharmaceutical management to counseling psychology,

Academic programs in the School of Science and Health are
designed to give you the power to succeed. You’ll work
closely with top research scientists on our faculty or with
health-care professionals in the region. Courses in writing,
humanities and social sciences will show you how to take a
global, interdisciplinary view. And, you’ll get your hands
on sophisticated tools like electrophoresis equipment,
atomic absorption spectrometer, gas chromatography and mass

Studies Program is ranked among the top 25 in the
nation.
- Pre-med students are offered a unique opportunity to
take part in six-week preceptorships, where they work
directly with experts in medical fields of their choice.
- An innovative environmental and conservation Biology
track dovetails with the Landscape Architecture Program,
preparing students for a wide range of environmental
careers in government agencies, nonprofit organizations
and consulting.
- Majors in Biopsychology and Psychology offer

from play behavior in predatory felines to the influence
of olfaction on attitudes and judgments or the effects
