Prof. McCoy-Deh earned the PhD in American Culture Studies with a Concentration in Ethnic Studies and Popular Culture from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

Her primary role is administration of the Honors Program with responsibility for its curriculum, programming, and daily operations. She is credentialed as a Program Reviewer for the National Collegiate Honors Council. With faculty affiliation in the College of Science, Health and Liberal arts, she teaches Social Science, History, and Writing courses. Her research area is in cultural identity affirmation. Recent publications include a novel and a children’s book.

Dr. McCoy-Deh also serves as campus Fulbright Program Advisor for undergraduate and graduate student applications, and has served a 3-year term on the Institute of International  Education National Screening Committee.Awards/Publications
