Wendy Wachter-Schutz, OTD, MS, OTR/L has clinical experience in acute care, outpatient services, and trauma settings where she worked with people recovering from traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. Her most recent clinical work has been in mentoring students in a pro-bono student run OT/PT serving the Chester community in a partnership with Widener University.  She also has recently been working in home health working exclusively with people with dementia and their caregivers with Jefferson Elder Care. Prior to teaching she served as a director of rehabilitation in a city-based hospital in Philadelphia.  She also served on the board of directors of POTA, and as treasurer for POTA District V.  Wendy’s teaching responsibilities include assessment and intervention for adult populations, clinical reasoning, functional neuroanatomy, evidence based practice and practice platform seminars.
