About the Program
The Basic Textiles Seminar at Philadelphia University provides an introduction to textile products from raw material through finished fabrics. Problems in the manufacture of apparel and other consumer products will be discussed. Emphasis will be given to the basic language, process flow and performance characteristics of textile materials. In addition to classroom instruction, participants will have the opportunity to tour the laboratories and make use of the University’s equipment.
