Vehicle Registration

To register for a parking permit, students, faculty and staff  must complete an online registration process. Click here or one the link in the box to the right to proceed to step one of the process where you will obtain your Colleague ID, a number that you will later need order to obtain your permit.

Upon clicking the link that initiates step one, you will then be asked to login. Please enter your network ID along with your password (your network ID and password are identical to those you use to login to any computer on campus or to view your email from off-campus). If you do not know your network ID, please contact the technology help desk at 215.951.4648 or email helpdesk@philau.edu.

Step two of the process of registering your vehicle will then be explained to you on the resulting secure page. Again, remember your Colleague ID. It will be used as your account number for the parking system.

Upon completion of the online registration process, follow instructions for printing out a temporary permit that must be placed on your vehicle's dashboard while your parking sticker is being processed. Please allow five business days for your permit to ship. Faculty and Staff: once you have completed the registration process, your permit will be sent to you via campus mail. Student permits must be picked up at the Office of Safety and Security. Please be aware that first-year (under 30 credit hours) resident students are not permitted to have a vehicle on campus. The Safety and Security Office is located on the Ravenhill Campus and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A yearly registration fee is required and a vehicle is considered registered only when a valid parking permit assigned to that vehicle is properly displayed. The registrant is responsible for the use of the issued permit that can only be displayed on the vehicle to which it is registered. PRIOR YEAR PERMITS MUST BE REMOVED.

The University parking permit must be affixed to the outside rear window on the driver’s side. If the permit is not affixed using the adhesive on the permit (e.g., taped, set in window, etc.), tickets for failure to display or improper placement will be assumed to be correct. Vehicles on campus without a parking permit will be considered as trespassing and dealt with accordingly. Vehicles parked off-campus by resident students must be registered via our Off-Campus Resident Vehicle Registration Form.
