A cermonial groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday evening, May 23rd, for the Arlen Specter Center for Public Service, with a program and reception held at the Paul J. Gutman Library. Those in attendance included members of the late Senator Arlen Specter's family; and Michael A. Smerconish, a noted radio host, cable television presenter, newspaper columnist, attorney, and author.
Also on display was a preview of pieces that will comprise the Center's first exhibition, focusing on the Warren Commission investigation of the JFK assassination.
