We are pleased to welcome Jenny Barr as part-time Archivist for the Arlen Specter Center for Public Policy, managed by the Gutman Library. In this grant-funded position, Jenny is working with Stan Gorski, Center Curator and Coordinator of the Library’s Special Collections, to organize, inventory and manage the Specter archives, emphasizing support for development of an exhibition on Specter’s role in the Warren Commission investigation of the JFK assassination.
Jenny has had archives work experience at Presbyterian Historical Society, the University of Michigan Libraries, and the Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries (PACSCL) Consortial Survey Initiative, in which she assessed collections at 22 Philadelphia area repositories.
She holds a Master of Science in Information, Archives and Records Management specialization from the University of Michigan School of Information, and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Bryn Mawr College.
